First of all, create a 400×400 new page. I chose this size, but you can use no matter what size.
We need a sky now. Fill the entire area with black, using rectangular select and bucket fill. Now, add some noise (I feel like a DJ 
). You can get there using Filter/Noise/Add Noise. Use around 100%, uniform, monochromatic.

Some of your pictures from page 5 an 6 do not appear so I am unable to see your figures for the glow and so forth
